The Olympic venue is located in Esto-Sadok village on the northern slope of the Aibga Ridge. International experts selected the location to protect athletes from side winds.
The first Ski Jumping World Cup in Russia and Olympic test event took take place in December 2012. After the Games, the RusSki Gorki Jumping Center will be used as the National Training Center with a stadium for 9,600 people, a warm-up zone and a permanent building for Games operations that will provide services related to the administration of the Games.
