According to Lindsey Vonn’s publicist Lewis Kay, Lindsey crashed earlier this morning while training at Copper Mountain in Colorado. She was not admitted to the hospital and is currently being evaluated by U.S. women’s ski team Dr. Bill Sterett back in Vail.
Junior skier Maris Van Slyke posted a photo of Vonn on Twitter and confirmed via replies to reporters that she saw Vonn limping and holding onto coaches’ shoulders. Van Slyke said on Twitter that Vonn wasn’t putting any weight on her right leg.

Back in Feb 2013, Lindsey Vonn was airlifted after crashing on the women’s super-G course at the Alpine skiing world championships in Schladming, Austria. With a fractured tibial plateau in her right knee and tearing her ACL and MCL, the Sochi 2014 Olympics looked out of the question for the American alpine ski racer.
