Lindsey Vonn back in the snow after accident, sets her eyes on Sochi

Lindsey Vonn is back on skis. The four-time World Cup overall champion and defending 2010 Winter Olympics Downhill gold medal winner said she felt good after a training session in Portillo, Chile. She plans to return to competition in time for the women’s World Cup in Beaver Creek, Colorado, Nov. 29 – Dec. 1 2013. “If I start off slow, it’s fine. I want to make sure that by the time I get to Sochi that I’m 100% in those events.”

In February, Vonn crashed at the world championships, tearing her ACL and MCL and suffering a fractured tibial plateau in her right knee. “I can’t tell which knee is injured – that’s a good sign,” she said.

The Instagram account for the US SKi Team shared the video below. You can find Lindsey Vonn photos on her Instagram account and her latest news on LindseyVonn.com, her official Web site.
