Mr. Fernandez has been a pioneer in online marketing for over a decade. He started his career in 1992 with The Miami Herald newspaper before moving on to his position as Director of Global Marketing for database leader Oracle Corporation from 2000 – 2008. From there Mr. Fernandez became a Senior Partner with Ogilvy & Mather, a global advertising, marketing and public relations agency from 2008 – 2012. During these years, he spent time on the Google Technology Council working directly with Google engineers, providing input and feedback to their projects.
Mr. Fernandez is a founding partner and vice president of analytics for SocialShelfspace.com, a marketing agency that combines search engine optimization with influencer outreach and social technologies to deliver measurable effects. He brings together the latest knowledge, tools, and methods from the world of search engine marketing and social media to help clients develop comprehensive programs and improve their social shelf space.
